Whether you’re new to visiting BoutiqueHotels.com (welcome!) or have been following us for a while, isn’t it about time you got to know the team behind the scenes? We’re excited to introduce ourselves and tell you some of our favorite things about traveling. Today you can get to know our European Market Manager, Cecile!
Edition 2: Cecile
For my 7th birthday I was given a children’s book called Eloise at the Plaza by Kay Thompson. What a revelation it was! The idea of living in a plaza all year round, meeting interesting people and sliding down the hotel’s balustrade definitely appealed! A passion for the hospitality industry was born.
My name is Cecile and I am the European Market Manager for BoutiqueHotels.com. My role is to study the market, scour cities in the search of boutique hotels that we wish to add to our catalogue and promote to our broad clientele. I often meet the owners of such establishments who clearly hold great passion for their establishments and love showing me the latest armchair they managed to find for a specific room or showing off parts of the building renovated by a professional designer. I also get to meet a lot of professionals from the hotel industry from Sales Directors to Marketing Managers who work tirelessly all year round, putting their great knowledge and skills at the service of true hospitality.
I would therefore exceptionally like to share with you the many faces that contribute to the smooth running of a hotel. The people that you do not get to see yet make your stay truly unforgettable. The following pictures were taken during the all-important International Luxury Travel Market of 2014. Thanks to them all!
Between an unforgettable location, opulent fantasy design, and a stunningly accommodating staff, you’ll have the best of London at your doorstep at The Milestone Hotel. Elsa is a Sales Manager on the Red Carnation team.
Soho House Berlin complements the uber-creative and sophisticated nature of Berlin and its denizens. Chill in the coolest of comforts surrounded by the height of Berlin’s creative class. Dominic is the Director for International Sales & Relations and loves to say “Yes!” to guests.
Embodying the spirit of its locale, including the royal-luxe atmosphere of Place des Vosges and the nonchalant attitude of the Marais, Le Pavillon de la Reine delivers a fine blend of luxury that is both discreet and steeped in history–a perfect fit for the inner kings and queens in each of us.
High-design digs and a high-art address make Hotel Americano a quintessential New York experience. As Grupo Habita’s first US project, Hotel Americano seems to get everything right—from its commitment to the local arts scene to its creative, minimalist design to its role as a meeting place in West Chelsea.
